MY list of my core beliefs.

• I believe in ONE God.
• I believe that God created the world in six literal days.
• I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
• I believe that God sent Jesus Christ to earth to die for the sins of the whole world past, present, and future.
• I believe in a real place called Heaven.
• I believe in a real place called Hell.
• I believe that the Bible is the Word of God.
• I believe what the Bible says is truth.
• I believe that the only way a person can go to Heaven and escape judgment in Hell is through the free gift of God’s love that He offers us through His Son Jesus Christ.

You may be wondering why I have this page. Well, I’ll tell you why. I unashamedly believe in love. You do too! What a coincidence! But do you believe in God’s love for you personally? Sure, you have probably heard the saying, “God is love”, but do you personally believe it?

The Bible verse above says, “Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.” Would you give your life for someone else? Maybe your mother? father? sister? brother? What about your special friend? The greatest love that any one of us can show to someone else is to give our life for them personally. Would you agree?

You may say, “Nobody has even shown me enough love that they would be willing to die for me.” Well, I’m here to tell you that someone does love you and that He loves you so much that He died for you personally. His name is Jesus Christ. You may have heard of Him. You may believe that He is not real or that He is only a historical figure. However, I’m here to tell you that He is real and that He is so much more than a historical figure! He is alive today and He loves YOU specifically! Let me share with you my story. . .

When I was four years old, I heard a sermon from my Pastor on the reality of Hell. The Bible says that Hell is a real place and that every person who is not absolutely perfect (someone who has never sinned) will spend eternity (life after death) there. I knew that God would not be able to let me into Heaven because I am a sinner. In the same way, God will not, He cannot let YOU into Heaven because you are a sinner. However, I remember hearing my sister explain to me later that night how God says a person can have their sins completely forgiven!

I listened and I accepted Jesus Christ’s free gift of salvation that night. I can now know that I am going to Heaven for certain because Jesus Christ has completely forgiven my sins and He has covered my imperfection with His absolute perfection because He is God. God cannot sin, therefore, God is perfect. Now I have joy and fulfillment in life because I am not living for myself, I am one of God’s children.
