Welcome to Short Sports Stories. I am so excited that you decided to check out my blog!

Purpose

The purpose of this blog is to inspire young people to learn godly principles from the lives of athletes through stories. If you are looking for a blog to read quick and inspiring information about athletes, then you are in the right place!

Content

My goal is to post at least one post every month. Each post will feature a short story of an athlete with a short and relevant section highlighting wisdom from either the Bible, an athlete, an influential person, or myself. In addition, I will try to include cool and interactive content such as videos when possible.

Who am I?

I am currently a student at Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, Wisconsin. At the University I am involved in multiple groups including the University Volleyball team, one of the University Choirs, and a Society Quartet. I grew up as the ninth child in a family of ten and I have enjoyed playing sports all of my life from Table Tennis to Baseball.

What I believe

• I believe in ONE God.
• I believe that God created the world in six literal days.
• I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Past experiences

High School Baseball Umpire for the IHSA (Illinois High School Association)
(2018-2019)
I was a licensed high-school baseball umpire for the “Fox Valley Blues” during the 2018-2019 school year. Most of my experience was behind the plate calling the balls and strikes.

Operational Staff at Camp Joy in Whitewater, Wisconsin
(Summer of 2016)
During the summer of 2016, I was a member of the “Summer Operational Staff” at Camp Joy in Whitewater, Wisconsin. My jobs included building maintenance, grounds upkeep, and special projects.

Sports Enthusiast
(2006 – Present)
I have loved and followed sports since I was in elementary school. Growing up around the city of Chicago, I have always been exposed to enthusiastic sports fanatics who, well, rubbed off on me.
